The Horns Of Evangelina
In November 2005, a young man went missing in the small town of Monterey, Louisiana. The fields of Evangelina Plantation, where his wrecked vehicle had been found, were searched for days. Nearly a week later, the young man’s body was found in an area that had been extensively searched several times.
Where this young man was during his missing week, and what he may have gone through, is still a haunting mystery in this rural community.
Inspired by actual events, Chuck Morgue has crafted a harrowing exploitative horror tale that brings to mind the crude horror films of the 1970s such as The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Wicker Man and The Hills Have Eyes. Praised by all who have read it, The Horns Of Evangelina is a book that leaves a blood-stained impression on the reader’s mind.
